Connect your AI to Ippon AI

Checked against each app's official docs on 2026-10-29. Menus change; if a step looks different, look for "custom connector" or "MCP server".

Ippon AI runs a public MCP server (remote, Streamable HTTP, no sign-in):

https://ipponai.netlify.app/mcp

Claude (claude.ai, Desktop, mobile)

  1. Customize > Connectors, then Add.
  2. Hover Custom and choose Web.
  3. Name it "Ippon AI" and paste the URL above. Continue.
  4. Under Authentication choose "No sign in", then Add.

Free plans allow one custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an Owner adds it first.

ChatGPT (web)

  1. Go to Plugins, press the plus button, then "Add custom MCP server".
  2. Name it "Ippon AI" and paste the URL above under Connection.
  3. Choose no authentication, tick "I understand and want to continue", then "Create as a plugin".
  4. Install the plugin, then type @ in a new chat and pick Ippon AI.

Developer mode is no longer needed for this. Workspace policies may block custom servers.

Gemini CLI

gemini mcp add --transport http ippon-ai https://ipponai.netlify.app/mcp

Add -s user to use it in every project. Check with /mcp.

Cursor and other MCP clients

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or your client's MCP config):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "ippon-ai": { "url": "https://ipponai.netlify.app/mcp" }
  }
}

Gemini CLI's settings.json uses "httpUrl" instead of "url".

What your AI can do

You stay in charge. Nothing starts until you agree to the request yourself, and nothing is booked or paid without your explicit confirmation in Ippon AI. Ippon AI is an AI assistant; nothing is guaranteed. Never give card numbers, passwords or one-time codes to any AI.

Server details: /mcp/server-card. See also Privacy.
